God kid… It’s snowing as if it doesn’t want me to ever leave… It was snowing since 20:00 yesterday… then never stopped but for minutes; only to bring more snow and cover the whole town… I really wish you could come here… Right Now… I’ve never seen such beauty since 1992…
Suddenly all your childhood memories come alive on a fragile white stage… Weird, how a deaf cold layer of crushed ice could bring such warmth to the heart of a dead crow.

Well, the way it “gets better” as you call it, in your related link, doesn’t make it any better here, but only adds to the problem, by making sure that new homes are being opened for new little creatures of the same destructive species that is US.
By building that new home in my small old town I’ll be only adding more to the population, reducing the foliage-covered areas and adding pollution to pollution, allowing desertification to mark new lands as its “No-Snow Land”… It’s been happening for the last 20 years, and my own community is only making it worse… In ten years from now, the newborn won’t even know what “rain” once meant…
I don’t know if any of this makes sense… I hope it does…
